Scholarship Test Formats

ACER - Australian Council for Educational Research
Australian Cooperative Entry Program (ACEP)
Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP)
Primary Scholarship Program (PSP)
Scholarship Selection Test (SST)

The difference between CSTP and SST is that CSTP test is held in May with one set of test papers shared by the participating schools while SST is written for only one school. The SST tests are usually conducted from mid February to mid March.

PSP is for primary school students for scholarships which begin in years 4 , 5 or 6. It is generally held in May but schools can request alternate dates.

ACEP is a scholarship selection and entry test that identifies the highest achieving students within a group of high achievers.

ITSA - The Independent Testing Service of Australia

Edutest is a new test format which just started in 2008. However the owner of the company was previously a senior employee of ITSA which scaled down its operations. If you want to apply for scholarships at different schools, you need to sit at the earliest test and share the results with the other schools. Please note that you need to pay each school a fee.
