2017 VCE results by numbers
- 36 students achieved perfect score of 99.95 — 28 boys and 8 girls
- 47,450 students completed the VCE
- 65.10 average ATAR, average score of 66.25 for girls and 63.70 for boys
- 36 achieved scores of 99.95
- 14,797 with at least one study score of 40 or above
- 97.8 completion rate
- 13,110 students completed VOCAL
- 3,936 students awarded the VCE (Baccalaureate)

- 24% of boys scored an ATAR of 95 or above placing them in the top 5% of students in Australia.
- 42% of boys scored an ATAR of 90 or above placing them in the top 10% of students in Australia.
- 52% of boys scored an ATAR of 85 or above placing them in the top 15% of students in Australia.
- 65% of boys scored an ATAR of 80 or above placing them in the top 20% of students in Australia.
