Compare Cross-platform socket / TCP client libraries: System.Net.Sockets, SocketLite, sockets-for-pcl

Under the namespace System.Net.Sockets, sockets, TcpClient and more components support .Net Core 2.1, .NetStandard 2.0, Android 7.1, iOS 10.8, Windows except Mac, See more information at

sockets-for-pcl is a Cross-platform socket API for Xamarin iOS/Android/Forms, Xamarin.Mac/MonoMac, Windows Phone 8/8.1, Windows Store and Windows Desktop. However it doesn't support .NetStandard 2.0 yet. The GitHub code base hasn't been updated for the last two years.

SocketLite is built on top of sockets-for-pcl. This project is a fork that build upon the fantastic work done with Socket for PCL. It supports .NetStandard 2.0. However, Its TcpSocketClient doesn’t work on Android reliably (Internet permission has already been granted to the device). Also the GitHub code base hasn't been updated for the last two years.
In the case that it cannot open socket reliably, you can see "TCP Zero Window" in Wireshark log.

I changed to System.Net.Sockets TcpClient. I use TcpClient in Xamarin forms Standard 2.0. It works with Android and iOS.
