Capture Maximize/Minimize button/menu clicks

Code:
procedure WMSysCommand(var Msg: TWMSysCommand); message WM_SYSCOMMAND;

procedure TForm1.WMSysCommand;
begin
   if (Msg.CmdType = SC_MINIMIZE) then
     ...
   else if (Msg.CmdType = SC_MAXIMIZE) then
     ...
   else
     DefaultHandler(Msg);
end;

If you cannot receive the maximize or minimize event, check whether "message WM_SYSCOMMAND;" is included in the declaration of the procedure.
