My Japanese maple has grown fine early spring until last week, I found the foliage started rusty, and the edge becomes yellowish and curling.

I went to Bunnings, asked people in nursery said the reason of the above symptom is due to the water deficit. I feel odd as there was plenty rain water recently.

Can anyone, who has experience, tell me what should I do?

thanks
