Lauriston offers innovative education for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. Our students are offered a wide range of programs, including a choice of VCE or IB at Years 11 & 12. In addition to helping students achieve outstanding academic results, our hands-on learning programs and focus on arts, music, sport and community service help our students to develop the skills, values and knowledge they will need to pursue their dreams and make a positive contribution to society.
With more than half of our students ranking in the top 10% of the state, our girls should feel proud that they have shown remarkable resilience and commitment to their education, particularly given the challenging 2020 learning environment.
In addition:
Our VCE and overall Dux, Claire Lin, was in the top 1% of the state with an ATAR of 99.8 and has been invited to an interview for Medicine at Monash University. Amelia Zhu is our IB Dux with an ATAR of 99.75 and would also like to study medicine at either Monash or Melbourne University. Another student, Bridget Clarke achieved perfect study score of 50 in VCE English.
At Lauriston, we nurture a culture that embraces individuality and values community. Our extensive co-curricular programs inspire our girls to be curious, courageous and collaborative.
We encourage our students to pursue their interests and challenge them to explore every opportunity available to them.
Girls from Year 6 to Year 12 are given opportunities to be a part of local and international trips and exchanges, from Vietnam and NASA to Performing Arts in New York.

From individual instrumental lessons to ensembles and choirs, our experienced teachers inspire students from Kindergarten to Year 12 to explore and develop their individual musical abilities across a range of genres.
