新金山文化学校于1992 年建校，是经政府注册（注册号A0028156V）的一所以教授中文为主，兼及中国历史文化等教学内容的民族学校。我校最初在Clayton 地区的Amstel小学里租用一间教室，学生仅为６人。经过十八年的辛勤耕耘，今天的新金山文化学校已发展成为一所拥有Glen Waverley；Melbourne High；Wesley College；Keysborough； Box Hill等六处分校，近100位教师和2500多名学生的大型语言文化学校，并以其先进的办学理念和优异的教学成绩在墨尔本乃至全澳州享有盛誉。十几年的风雨历 程，凝聚了师生和家长的心血和汗水，也凝结着社会各界人士的关爱与支持，更显示着中文教育是一项有着无限前景的光荣事业。 新金山文化学校以传播中华文化、推广汉语教育、繁荣澳洲多元文化为办学宗旨。热爱教育事业、关爱学生、恪尽职守、为人师表是全校教职员工的行为准则。 新金山文化学校有一支实力雄厚、经验丰富、热爱教育的师资队伍，他们绝大多数都是维州教师专业注册局注册的老师。其中很多老师是来自中国大、中、小学的优秀老师。
