School zone and neighbourhood enrolment

It's a clear cut  that enrolment can be secured if your residential address is within school zone. However, this doesn't mean the enrolment is out of the question if a little out of school zone. Your child can still get enrolled as long as you can prove that the school is the nearest to your home. Also there are special considerations based on merits for talented students or even compassion.

Some schools don't have a school zone defined or available on their websites. In this case, just need to prove that the school is the nearest to your residential address than other schools in your neighbourhood. This is called neighbourhood enrolment.
