Australian school enrolments, school sector proportion and trends

In Australia, total school enrolment number has increased to 3.85 million in 2017 from 3.4 million in 2006. This is an increase of 456K (almost half a million) students in 11 years. Yet it's a steady growth. However, the ratio between government and non-governments schools remains unchanged, a constant 2 : 1, ie 2/3 to 1/3. Check the numbers and the time series graph yourself.
